At Nature School and Education Centre one of our missions is to encourage connections between children and nature. With help from the Town of Lincon’s Grow, Prosper & Belong fund we are launching “Nature in our Neighbourhood’ Photo contest so that the community can share the many ways that we appreciate the nature in our own backyard, local parks and trails and beyond! Our Wonders of the Woods kit comes with tools as well as a parent guide booklet and tool use booklet to help encance your families time in Nature.
Residents of Lincoln, get your cameras ready to caputre the moments you and your children spend in Nature. It could be in your yard, a local park or conservation area or even a moth in the parking lot – use your imagination! Share a photo of your child engaging in Nature or something they discovered or created. (child not required to be in photo – Quotes appreciated if no child is in photo.)
One photo per family will be entered into our weekly draw to win one of our Wonders of the Woods kits to be delivered to your door! (aprox. value $40).
Open to residents of Lincoln only.
At least 10 kits to give away a week.
