NATURE NEWTS
Newts is our half-day outdoor learning program running Tuesday and/or Thursday mornings for children 2.5 – 4 years of age.
Newts is a child-led, inquiry-based program that will focus on developing social, physical, cognitive, creative, and emotional well-being while fostering a connection with the natural world around them.
We offer small class sizes (1:6 ratio) which provides educators with the opportunity to connect with and build upon children’s learning in our unstructured-play environment.
This is a drop-off program, no caregiver participation.
A day as a Nature Newt may look as follows:
- 9:00 am – Arrival and Nature Stations
- 9:30 am – Outdoor Exploration
- 10:30 am – Snack
- 10:45 am – Circle
- 11:00 am – Nature Stations
- 11:30 am – Pick-Up
Nature Newts program will run out of our new Cave Springs location in Beamsville, ON.
